The private ethnographic collection and collection of rare books donated by Mykola Zhulynskii is the separate part of the museum exhibition.

The additional exposition of donated items was formed in 2014. The exhibits are placed in exhibition windows in the room P5. Here is a collection of rare books and periodicals published in Ukrainian during 1801-1922. Today it has become part of the national cultural heritage. The ethnographic collection consists mainly of embroidered shirts from different regions of Ukraine (created in the early and mid-twentieth century), as well as household items, tools – all that Mykola Zhulynskii collected during his life.
