The sculpture “Individualisation” embodies the idea of spiritual freedom: a winged figure breaks away in a vertical flight from other figures grouped in a closed sphere.
There are different ways to interpret the sculpture. Spiritual liberty is the right to one’s opinion, self-expression, and inner peace. Individualisation is the pursuit of self-expression, intellectual growth, and personal development. Mirtala has her own way of commenting on work: “Spiritual liberty lies in non-attachment”.
