The world of children is a distinct theme in Kapshuchenko’s creative works. Children’s emotions are genuine and sincere. The sculptor found it interesting to convey them. In the sculpture “Pryiateli,” the bird perched on the boy’s hand creates the entire essence of the composition, capturing the viewer’s attention and flawlessly setting the mood of the artwork. The carefree nature of children, perhaps the author’s nostalgia for his youth, is embodied in the figures of two children fascinated by observing a bird, which they are afraid to startle, evoking a sense of calm and joy in the viewer.
